Hunting!

Last year right after Christmas Ryan bought these camo overalls for the girls. At the time they would not even put them on which really up set Ryan. But now that he has been hunting and they see him in his camo pants all the time they want to wear theirs. He has a dart gun that we was showing them how to use. Of course he had to explain that they only shoot elk, bear and deer, not each other. He really wants them to be interested in hunting so he has a hunting partner since I have no interest other than having the meat so we don't have to buy it at the grocery store. I am going to go out with him this Sunday though, he wants me to see that it is called "hunting" not "killing" and that's why he hasn't shot anything yet. After 5 weekends of hunting it gets pretty frustrating, and we still have rifle season and another archery season before the end of the year. Just call me the hunting widow from now on!

The last picture was taken last night, the girls are always trying to put on their Mr. Potatoe Head glasses on so we all decided to put them on and get our picture taken.

Princesses

Bell(Elise)
Barbie(Abbi)
Cinderelli(Jordis)

Today I am watching my friend Jenni's daughter Abbi. When I found the girls' halloween costumes there was a Barbie dress that I decided to get too, which is perfect for times like this. They all are dressed up with purses, jewelry and crowns, all that's missing is a cute hair style but that would be to hectic to do with 3 girls. So far they are all playing well, but then again it's only 9 am and I still have all day. I just had to share these photos of them.

Fair time again!

Once again it rained at the fair, uhg! The girls actually enjoyed the petting zoo this year. I kept looking for Jordis because she would follow a goat or sheep off somewhere. Elise on the other hand is still leery about touching any of the animals. There were so many people in the petting zoo it was hard to get good pictures of the girls. I was able to quickly glance at the scrapbooking pages to see what ribbons I got and what my cousin Amanda got. My HOME letters that I made recieved 3 BIG ribbons-best in show, best in class and sweepstakes award(don't really know what that ribbon means). On all my other pages and cards I received blue and red ribbons. We bought an elephant ear and then headed home because I was soaked and the girls were cranky(thank goodness I didn't have a certain 26 year old "kid" with me too or I would have lost my mind:) Hopefully this rainy weather is a good sign that Ryan might actually get his elk this weekend. Hunting season is only a third over and I am tired of it already. Actually having my weekends free to do whatever the girls and I want is nice, not having him here to help with them is frustrating at times. Right now my girls are running around in their diapers playing with cars on the floor, so lady like. Well I need to start getting the girls ready for bed time.

Pretty tame September

I've noticed that September is less eventful for us than our summer was. It is nice getting back into a routine and not having to be somewhere every weekend. Now that I have a double jogger stroller I have been taking the girls for a walk alot more, which they love. Ryan is still hunting every weekend up in Elk City which allows the girls and I to do whatever we want. Sat I judged the modeling for the Nez Perce fair in the morning. Then the girls and I went to lunch with Maria and her family before we headed up to my moms house. Christel and Layla were also up there since Richie was working a 24 hour shift. It's nice to just have all us girls together to just hang out and relax with no men to worry about. I am planning on taking the girls to the fair this weekend to see the animals, that is all they've talked about since the Idaho county fair. Not much new with us so hopefully this year I won't forget my camera for the fair so I can share some picures. (I entered some scrap booking stuff in the fair so hopefully I will get a ribbon or two)

Two people have tagged me with an "I love your blog" card. The first one was Tami, she is the one I "crop-lift" from. I love looking at what she does and trying to make it work for my pictures. Whenever I am stuck in a rut she is the one that I go to for idea's. Kristi also tagged me, she is my "supplier" and now a client of mine at the salon. She is so bubbly all the time, I don't see how you just don't crash after all that you do. I love going to the store to see what she has in and what is going on for upcoming classes and crops.
The rules for the award are - (1) The winner can put the logo on their blog. (2) Link the person you received your award from. (3) Nominate at least 7 other blogs. (4) Put links of those on yours. (5) Leave a message on the blogs of the girls or boys you’ve nominated. Now I get to nominate 7 people:

Cori(we'll see if this gets her to blog)

Weekend "round up"

Thursday night we started off by taking the girls to the Bull Bash. Jordis was really into it, clapping everytime the rider came out and was actually paying attention for the most part. On the other hand, Elise was more interested in climbing up and down the stairs and in what everyone was eating. Saturday my mom and I took the girls to the parade while Ryan was off hunting in Elk city, still no elk brought home:(. The rest of the weekend we were pretty lazy and just stayed home and ran a few errands. I have noticed that the girls are playing "pretend" alot more. For the most part they are playing really well together and don't fight that often, but they have been playing "mommy and baby" so the one that is the baby is always crying. Half the time I don't know if they are playing or if they are really upset or hurt. If I don't have crying babies in my house I have 2 meowing kitties. I don't know which one is worse. I don't have any new pictures of Layla but Christel has finally updated her blog and has newer ones than me so check it out. If anyone wants to know how I changed my blog background, go to www.cutestblogontheblock.com and it will give you tons of backgrounds to choose from. I think I am going to change it more often now that I know how to do it.
