A newby to the blog world

My friend Maria is new to the blog world. I finally convinced her to set up her own blog this last weekend when she was here. Her blog is now added to my other blogs that I read if you want to check it out.

So true!

I just read this on Sherelle Christensen's blog and thought it was hilarious! I hope she doesn't ming that I copied it.
Dear Tech Support,
Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a distinct slow down in overall system performance -- particularly in the flower and jewelry applications, which operated flawlessly under Boyfriend 5.0.
In addition, Husband 1.0 uninstalled many other valuable programs, such as Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5 and then installed undesirable programs such as NFL 5.0, NBA 3.0, and Golf Clubs 4.1.
Conversation 8.0 no longer runs, and Housecleaning 2.6 simply crashes the system. I've tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail. What can I do?
Signed, Desperate

Dear Desperate:
First keep in mind, Boyfriend 5.0 is an Entertainment Package, while Husband 1.0 is an Operating System.
Please enter the command: 'I Thought You Loved Me.exe', try to download Tears 6.2 and don't forget to install the Guilt 3.0 update. If that application works as designed, Husband 1.0 should then automatically run the applications Jewelry 2.0 and Flowers 3.5. But remember, overuse of the above application can cause Husband 1.0 to default to Grumpy Silence 2.5, Happy Hour 7.0 or Beer 6.1. Beer 6.1 is a very bad program that will download the Snoring Loudly Beta.
Whatever you do, DO NOT install Mother-in-law 1.0 It runs a virus in the background that will eventually seize control of all your system resources. Also, do not attempt to reinstall the Boyfriend 5.0 program. These are unsupported applications and will crash Husband 1.0
In summary, Husband 1.0 is a great program, but it does have limited memory and cannot learn new applications quickly. You might consider buying additional software to improve memory and performance. We recommend Food 3.0 and Hot Lingerie 7.7.
Good Luck, Tech Support

A tag a little late

Amanda tagged me last week. I had so many birthdays and stuff I didn't have time to do it so here it is. Here goes.................................the rules.....1. You have to post the rules before you give your answers.2. You must list one fact about yourself beginning with each letter of your middle name. (If you don't have a middle name, use your maiden name).3. After you are tagged, you need to update your blog with your middle name and your answers.4. At the end of your blog post, you need to tag one person for each letter of your middle name. (Be sure to leave them a comment telling them they've been tagged and that they need to read your blog for details.)So - here are my answers:
R: Responsible. I started babysitting my little sister when I was about 8 and other children when I was 10 so evidently someone thought I was pretty responsible. I don't like to be careless about things, I'm not one that likes to deal with bad consiquenses.
O: Organized. Most of you already know this if you've read any of my other tags. I like everything in it's place and looking clean. It drives me crazy to work or live in clutter. My basement is driving me CRAZY right now since we are remodeling a room and everything is just stacked everywhere.
B: Beautician. I have been doing hair outside of school for 8 1/2 years now. It doesn't seem that long until I think that I have co-owned our salon for 5 years this July. Thank you all who come to me.
I: (I can't think of anything, if you have any ideas leave it in my comments and I will add it.)
N:Nice, I like to think that I am nice to everyone I meet. I like people to be nice to me so I try to be nice to them.
I am tagging Cori since she didn't do it when Tami tagged her, Nicole since she never does things like this on her blog, Christel-you need a new post:), and anyone else that wants to do it.

The perfect 32 hours

I just had the perfect 32 hours in a long time. Yesterday Ryan took the girls with him to Grangeville so his parents could see them and he could go on a 4 wheeler ride. So I was left all alone for a little less than a day and a half. Usually when this happens I use the time to catch up on house work and things like that. Instead I decided to use it a "me time". It started off by playing bunco with all my girlfriends until about 10 pm last night and then coming home and crawling into a bed I didn't have to share pillows with anyone. Then I slept in until 8 and went to work at 9:30. I did 2 kids cuts and then cut Becky's hair off (it is very cute if you get to see it). Then Becky, Dena, Randi Jo and I went to see Fool's Gold followed by lunch at Taco Time. Then Becky, RJ and I went to have pedicures done at the beauty school, so relaxing and made me very thankful I am done with school. Then I went to my favorite place, Crop Paper Scissors. There I made 2 mini albums of the pictures of the girls that were taken at the store at xmas time, ate chocolate cake and chatted with Amanda, Kristi, Tami, and Jamie. When I came home I couldn't find Ryan anywhere, he wasn't asleep on the couch or in our bed. When I went to check on the girls I found them all alseep on their bedroom floor. He has been telling them for awhile that they were going to have a slumber party with him. It was so cute, I will try to post a picture tomorrow since it is 12:30 am right now.
OH! and for those of you that noticed that my last post is missing it is because people that I don't know have been leaving posts and trying to put a virus in my computer so I had to change some settings on my blog. I will try to put them back up. You can still leave comments, I just have to ok them before they will show now. I'm off to bed finally.

New projects for the girls room

Since Ryan was working on to ceiling in the room downstairs I decided to stay home from the scrapbook store and do a little scrapbooking at home. I altered the girls letters of their names that had been on the wall and decorated two picture frames that I got when the girls were born. I have been waiting to do something with them but wasn't quit sure until I was looking at Sherelle C blog one day. She had the same frame so I scraplifted the idea for mine. I'm hoping to make Vday cards tomorrow while the girls are napping.
