Dilema

So I need a new name for my blog....I chose the name "All Caught Up" because up until a couple months ago I have been caught up to date with my scrapbooking. The last 2 retreats I have been to I have slipped further behind so the title doesn't really fit anymore. (and for those of you that scrapped with me this weekend you know how much this bugs me:) So I would like suggestion on a new title for my blog. I will post the idea's and any idea's I come up with so hopefully pretty soon I will have a new title.

Ryan & Johnny-the might tube hunters:)

Our group of friends that usually go up river camping every summer decided this year that we needed a winter get-away. So we headed to McCall for a fun filled weekend. We started off Friday night with a quite expensive but good dinner at the Mill which is a steak house. That night some braved the cold to get in the hot tub while others stayed in our awesome cabin that we rented. Sat morning everyone was moving a little slow from the festivities from the night before. We decided to try ice skating, which for most of us was our first time. Steven ended up flat on his back while some little kid told their friend "That old guy out there is skating, so can you" he was refering to Johnny! Dennis realized there IS a left and right to the skates and of course had them on the wrong feet for his first attempt at skating. The women stayed out on the ice the longest while the men played in the arcade. That night we headed to the activity barn the do a little tubing. Fun was had by all, Chris really liked spinning down the hill while most of us got a little quessy from it. Steven found out that if you pack your tube full of snow that you go faster. That night we played a couple games and just relaxed since most of us were either tired, sore, or still a little hungover. If any of you know Chris Bremer, ask him about the soldiers attacking him, it was quite funny:) The next morning we packed up and headed to the pancake house to eat before leaving to go home. If you have never eaten there I highly recomend it, it is great food and you get a ton of it.

Life update

I noticed it had been awhile since I last posted so I thought I would update everyone on our life. The girls are showing us that they are definately little-big girls. Jordis' new saying is "I talkin' to you" or "I can't, I'm small". Elise says everything is "amazing" and proving to be quit stubborn about things, lately she will only let ryan do her hair or it turns into a big fight between her and I. We are still trying to talk Jordis into potty training, we don't even have to remind Elise anymore about it. The other day we started working on writing letters, they can write an O, H, and T. They are really into Barbie movies so I put a bunch of them on our netflix account so we won't get tired of watching the same one over and over.
Last weekend Ryan and I went to the Annual Greencreek Crab Feed with my siblings and other friends. My husband demonstrated just how crazy of a dancer he can be to a couple of my clients/friends. They thought he was so hilarious that their mom called me to tell me about them immitating his dance moves. This weekend we are going to McCall with our "couple" friends to go sledding and do a little drinking and games in the snow. I will post pictures when I get back, should be some interesting ones.

Happy New Year(I hope)

Last night we went to the Frei house to ring in the new year, well almost. Ryan had to work today at 4 am so we left the party around 11 pm. Let's back up a couple hours first, I was going to Rosaur's to get a couple groceries for the night when my heel slipped off my shoe and I ate s*#@ in the parking lot(which was bone dry so I couldn't even blame it on slick pavement) My purse went one way, my shoe another and I was belly down in the parking lot. Some nice guy asked if I was ok and I told him "yes, keep walking please". Very embarassing to say the least. So all night my knee and palms of my hands hurt. It was nice not being overly tired or hung over today. I decided to take the girls to see a movie and when we got home I was putting their clothes away and noticed stuff in their closet was wet! Tues Ryan stayed home from work to patch the hole we thought was the source of water in the girls' closet ceiling but found out today he was wrong on the location. Whoever built this house really #$%! rigged it. There was a square pan in the attic next to the chimney to catch the water as it came down the chimney when it rains, so someone knew that this was a problem at one time and thought that would fix the problem. Evidently all this rain and snow we have been getting it more than the pan could hold so it overflowed and ran down a rafter onto the ceiling of the girl's bedroom closet. Pretty soon this house is going to be completely new because we have replaced every appliance except the stove and fridge so I'm sure that will be what goes next. I sure hope this is not a preview of how our next year is going to be, if so I want a new house. I hope everyone else new year has started out better than ours:)
