The best Mothers day!
So here's the run-down on my great Mother's Day..... This morning Ryan got the girls up and then they came and layed in bed with me while he went to the store to get stuff for breakfast. My mom and sister came over for some french toast, bacon, sausage, eggs, and potatoes. The best part was that I didn't have to do a thing. Oh, and I also got a coffee and a dozen roses with a card. I then planted some flowers my neighbors gave me and checked on my garden. I now have little carrot tops poking out of the ground and little leaves from my cucumber plants showing. Then mom, Christel and I were off to see Made of Honor, it is a must see! Afterwards we headed to Home Depot to look at some plants for mom and I priced some bathroom fixtures for when we start that project. In the meantime Ryan has tilled, raked, and leveled off the front yard so we are just waiting for his friend Kevin to come over to start the sprinkler system. He also did a couple things on his "honey-do" list that have been there for quit awhile. We then finished off the evening with take out from my newest favorite place-Panda Express. The only thing that could make this day any better is if I had a maid to clean my house so I could wake up in the morning and not have to do it. Oh well, it can wait until tomorrow. I hope all the other moms that read this had as good of a day as me, Happy Mother's Day!!!

Spring, finally!
With this nice weather that we have been having the girls and I are able to go outside more and play. Elise thinks everytime we go outside that she has to water my flowers(that's what she calls the stawberries and tomatoes). Jordis has started swinging on her belly like Elise which is nice for me because I would have to stand their and push her for up to half an hour. I'm still waiting on my front yard being started for the sprinkler system. Right now it looks like an abandoned house with all the weeds growing. Maybe that will be my mothers day gift:)
A New tag
I was tagged by Tami R., so here it goes.
What was I doing 10 years ago? : I was preparing to graduate from highschool. I don't know if it was particularly this weekend but we had a really good senior sneak at Red River hot springs.
5 Things on my T0-Do List: work, go shopping at walmart, figure out what time on sunday my mom, sister and I are going to see Made of Honor at the theater, grocery shop.
5 Snacks I enjoy: ice cream, mini chocolate candy bars, dried apples, mocha's, popcorn
5 Things I would do if I were a Billionaire: Have a house built for us, put money away for the girls college and their first home, buy ryan a new pickup, buy me a new vehicle, give to ronald mcdonald and march of dimes.
5 Bad Habits: have to have everything in order, have to have things my way, am very non-confrontational, bite the sides of my nails, i'm cheap
5 places I have lived-Ferdinand, Lewiston, Clarkston
5 Jobs I've Had: babysitter, file girl for insurance company, Little Ceasars, hairstylist at Smartstyle and A Flair for hair
I am tagging Amanda, Christel, and Maria

Mothers Day a week early
This weekend was our mothers day with my mom and family. My sister Christel, brother Bob and his family, brother Ron, neice Jessi, and the four of us went to our moms house on Saturday night to play a little Wii. We all challenged each other at Guitar Hero, bowling, boxing and a little cow racing. The boxing was quit entertaining as you can see in the pictures on my slide show. Then Sunday morning we went to the annual mother/daughter breakfast at the Ferdinand Hall. In the last 2 years we went from having a table of 6 to a table of 12 with all the new neices. The men cook breakfast for all the women, it's quit nice, plus they give prizes away at the end. Then the whole purpose of the weekend began... We did all of mom's spring yard work-burned fence lines, picked weeds, moved river rock, etc. It was a really nice weekend being with all the family.

Vacation continued....
Elise with cousins Dani, & Reed /////Baby Zane
Jordis feeding a calf///// Elise & Uncle Ray, Cousin Reed
Well for the second half of our trip we went to Carey, ID to see Ryan's brother Ray, his wife Jennifer and kids Dani, Reed, and Zane. We haven't seen them since July of last year and Zane is already 5 months old so we needed to go see them. Ray works on a ranch that they do what you would call "Buckaroo style" ranching. They do everything from horse back. Ryan spent tues and wed working with Ray and loved it. But he didn't ride a horse, it hurts his knees to bad so he rode the 4 wheeler. Jennifer and I took the kids to Twin Falls to do a little shopping and then went out to the ranch. The girls were able to help feed the bottle fed calves. Elise was too scared to be down in the pen so she didn't get to hold a bottle but Jordis was so excited that she fed a calf by herself and went up to one to pet it. She almost got kicked by another calf but luckily was too far away. I had a really relaxing time with Jennifer and the kids at their house. We have been sister-in-laws for 3 1/2 years but haven't really had any one on one time so this was nice getting to know her better. They are also going to be moving into a brand new house that was built for them by Ray's company that he works for. They aren't quit done but it looks so nice and big.(They live in a small 2 bedroom house right now) We are home and settled back in now, Ryan is off to a bow shoot tomorrow while the girls and I spend some time with my mom. If it is warm enough I am hoping to work in my garden tomorrow.
